I took this shot in yorkville, so I’m pretty sure they worked hard to scrape what they could of this off the rock as soon as it came up. I love installation art, and I can’t even guess as to what the completed piece was, the colours, the layout, even though it’s a few tiles short of being complete, it’s lessened by it’s untimely demise.
Weston
The town of Weston has a tonne of historic landmarks. Sadly, a lot of it has become rundown, and the railway tracks, in addition to a rash of large appartment buildings has separated the once independent community. This war memorial, for the people of Weston who fell in the great wars, is in a small park that is also host to live plays during the summer.
Totoro
Really I’m not sure if I can convey this “piece of wall” into a face, but the big teeth and small eyes just remind me of Totoro.
