Commercial Portrait Photography for Hendrick Farm

Commericial Portrait Photography by Justin Van Leeuwen JVLphoto

After waking Fred up for sunrise at my Ottawa Magazine Hendrick Farm photoshoot, he must have thought “I want to do that again” as they brought me back in to work on their custom commercial portrait photography for the team. And, what started off as a dismally foggy day, with delayed portraits, ended as a lovely golden sunset with tonnes of photos for their website.

Their custom commercial photography helped to bring images of the team, and project outside to focus on details, craftsmanship, and a connection to nature. The team involved are very much building a community, with everyone filling an important role. We worked hard to give everyone involved their own unique space and background to help visually represent their job on the project. From the President Sean showing how he’s bringing together the new build with the old farm, to Sarah the horticulturalist in the garden, to Alex in charge of sales, everyone unique and important, every one different.

You can see them all on the Hendrick Farm website.

The second half of the day (after lunch at the amazing Chelsea Pub) hardly felt like work, as we were taking in the natural settings of the land adjacent to the development. This is green space that residents will have access to, and spending an hour hiking along one of the trails had me tempted to look into their model-home catalogue.
