Convenience

Convenience
A convenience store a few blocks away from my work burned down last month. A few weeks before that a restaurant across the street from it was also set alight. A month before that a house a few blocks from my house was on fire. And last year an entire building at the corner of Mel’s street burned the fuck to the ground.

Now I don’t want to sound any alarms here – but Ottawa’s slowly getting burned to the ground by the impending robot army, the Americans, or Tibetans in protest of China’s illegitimate rule of their homeland.

You can also zoom into this picture at 100% here, and try and see if there are any clues – or even interesting things in the rubble – like prayer flags or cherpa husks.

So, in the last few months buildings in your neighbourhood have been burning down left and right and you're suggesting it was probably militant Tibetan monks? Yeesh. I hope your lawyer can come up with a better story than that. If not I'll give you a carton of Benson & Hedges for your 70-200.

There have been a rise in fires and arson in Toronto too. Montreal has to be the worst for it; seems like entire streets are recovering from fires.

I'm actually leaning more toward the robot uprising – taking away my access to cola and chips.

I came across this through wikipedia – http://www.robotuprising.com/know.htm Im not so sure how I cam upon it when I was researching something totally unrelated! But it could help you in your fight for cola and chips.

Presuming this is Chinatown, I am of the belief that someone there is pursuing redevelopment without going through the proper bureaucratic channels.
